Property tyoon Marcus Cooper plans to make “London’s first £200m property” by combining seven terraced houses at Regent’s Park.
The vacant properties, used as offices in the past, will be combined to make 50,000 sq ft of living space, 15 bedrooms and 35 bathrooms. Plans for an underground entertainment complex with a pool, hot tub, bar and cinema are also on the cards.
The Times reports that Cooper paid the Crown Estate up to £120m to buy Grade I listed houses on Cambridge Terrace and Chester Gate.
Other mega-deals made by Cooper this year include selling three terraced houses to the Qatari royal family for £120m and buying One Cornwall Terrace for £80m
