The Reuben Brothers have revealed their plans for the In & Out club, the former exclusive gentleman’s club in Piccadilly.
The 48-room Grade I listed building will be turned into Britain’s most expensive home, at a rumoured £214m.
David and Simon Reuben bought the building for £130m back in July 2011 but have remained tight lipped about the future of the club until now.
The finished residence is expected to have an underground swimming pool, gym and expansive wine cellar.
The eye-watering price tag will mean the home will usurp the current most expensive house in Britain, the £74m Henley-On-Thames home of Russian billionaire Andrey Borodin.
The club itself was built in the 1750s as a home for the Second Earl of Egremont and became the In and Out club in the 1870s when it was taken on by the Naval and Military club.
As for who will buy the palatial residence, we can start placing our bets now.
