David and Victoria Beckham are rumoured to be interested in buying a £5.4m in Cotswolds.

Called Amberley Court, the property boasts six reception rooms, an infinity pool, a stable and a horse-walker.

The six-bedroom mansion dates back to 1640 and is set amid 22 acres of Cotswolds countryside.

Here’s how property consultancy Rightmove describes the property:

“Amberley Court is a beautiful manor house located in a secluded position on the top of a Cotswold escarpment.

“The central part of the property dates from the 1640, date stone in the fifth bedroom, with additional wings being added in the mid 1800s.

“It is said that ‘Beechwood’ in the novel ‘John Halifax, Gentleman’ is based on Amberley Court.

“Amberley Court has been sympathetically brought into the 21st century. You enter into a large and light entrance hall. A reclaimed Cotswolds limestone fireplace has been added which creates a welcome ambience adding to the period charm.

“The reception and inner hall also now benefit from under floor heating. Leading off the reception hall is a timeless Clive Christian kitchen with a recently opened up breakfast and reception area.”

Now take a look at David and Victoria Beckham’s property empire:

1. £32m London home

In 2012, the Beckhams spent over £30m on an eight-bedroom, four-storey home in central London.

The 9,000 square feet Kensington home has a gym, spa, games room among other frills.

2. £13m villa in Beverley Hills

In 2013, the Beckhams spent over £13m buying an Italian-style mansion in Beverley Hills, the home of Hollywood A-listers.

The H-shape home boast six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and is spread over 13,000 square feet.

3. A £2.6m holiday home in the south of France

In May 2003 it was widely reported that the Beckhams bought a multi-million pound holiday home in Bargemon, a village in Provence.

Coverage at the time put the 15-bedroom estate at around £1.37m.

However, more recent, but as yet unconfirmed, rumours suggest the Beckhams have sold the property – deeming it too far from the main action of Provence hotspots like Nice and St Tropez.
