The collection of four luxury penthouses at an airspace development scheme Belsize Park has successfully sold, testament to high demand for new-build homes of this calibre, reports sales agent Aston Chase. Kings College Court is the first airspace development scheme in Belsize Park, with the quartet of homes achieving £15m of sales in deals led by joint-sole agents Aston Chase and Savills.
Kings College Court is a residential building originally built in 1969 that has undergone a complete transformation by developer Pirton Ltd., with a collection of four penthouses constructed as two new floors on top of the existing building using airspace rights. Offering exceptional views across Primrose Hill and London, the penthouse collection has high-quality finishes and offers a premium lifestyle for residents with prices that started from £2.85m.
Pirton Ltd. is an experienced airspace developer, with the transformation of airspace above existing residential buildings providing a creative solution to building new homes across the capital. Aston Chase reveal the buyer demographic has been Middle Eastern and British, with the buyers attracted by the scheme’s fantastic views which are emphasised by floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces. One Middle Eastern buyer purchased the top two apartments for his family to live in, with the other two apartments going to British buyers. 
One of the buyers is a British couples who relocated from nearby St John’s Wood, having downsized from their family home. The couple wanted a lateral apartment with a contemporary design and luxury finishes, with one the penthouses at Kings College Court offering the ideal home.
The four penthouses at Kings College Court are arranged over the top two floors of the building, as Apartment 49, Apartment 50, Apartment 51 and ‘The Penthouse’, a stunning duplex home. 
Led by architect Jim Garland, each home offers a private balcony or terrace with views across London, a designer Boffi kitchen with Miele and Gagganau applicances and oak engineered flooring throughout. ‘The Penthouse’ has a statement cantilevered staircase with LED lighting to the treads, and an extensive roof terrace.
