Fancy living here?

The Chilterns has just made London’s luxury property market even hotter.

Known locally as the “One Hyde Park” of Marylebone, The Chilterns at 24 Paddington Street boasts 44 luxury residences, a signature restaurant, a gymnasium and sauna and a private cinema.

What’s more? The home comes with an art gallery of photos by David Bailey, one of the world’s most famous photographers.

There are 10 specially commissioned framed David Bailey prints in the residence, showing views of the local area including Regency architecture, the BBC HQ, Baker Street Underground Station, Regent’s Park and the boating lake.

At the start of the project, the developers commissioned David Bailey to produce his take on Marylebone. David Bailey took photographs of the locale, one for each apartment resident plus 16 large scale pieces to be displayed in the “lobby gallery”.

Built on a site that was once the Marylebone home of French Ambassador Viscount Francois-Rene de Chateaubriand (1768-1848), starting prices of the homes are from £3.8m.

Stephen Conway, CEO of Galliard Homes, said: “We are delighted to unveil the first completed and dressed residence at The Chilterns. We believe that we have delivered on our initial vision for The Chilterns which was to create the most exclusive address in Marylebone and the wider West End. In my view The Chilterns offers exceptional homes which are the area’s very best address and a superb investment for the future.”
