If you’re a Beatles fan with £14m of dosh to slosh, then this is your dream home.
John Lennon’s six-bedroom Surrey mansion, where he reportedly penned songs for the iconic Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, is now on the market.
Lennon bought the property on St George’s Hill Estate in Weybridge for £20,000 in 1964,
Set in 1.5 acres, the home boasts an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a games room.
The property has also been owned by Ken Wood of manufacturer Kenwood.
The sale is being handled by Knight Frank’s Country Department. A spokesperson said: “Kenwood is a wonderful character property yet redone in quite a contemporary style, giving it the perfect blend between the old and new. Situated in the exclusive St George’s Hill Estate, the property enjoys tranquillity and privacy while only being 17 miles from central London.”
