BARRATT London has just launched two brand new show apartments at Landmark Place, offering inspiration for homebuyers looking to move to the City of London. Dressed by award-winning interior design company Honky, the two-bedroom show apartments will demonstrate how busy City workers can make the most of their living space at this prime development located on the north bank of the River Thames, nearby to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

The luxury two-bedroom show apartments have been designed for those looking to experience life in the heart of London, surrounded by British culture, and feature bespoke colour schemes and furnishings to create contemporary spaces.

The first show apartment to be designed by Honky sits on the 8th floor, offering striking views of the River Thames from one of two balconies. Each bedroom benefits from an en-suite and a walk-in dressing room. The apartment features a lighter colour scheme, incorporating chalky blues, calming neutral colours, soft blush and sage green. Darker accents such as charcoal bring depth to the design.

“For our first show apartment, we took our inspiration for the colour palette from the reflections of light from the river and surrounding buildings such as The Shard, as well as the panoramic sunset views which can be seen from the apartment,” says Amy Broad, Interior Designer for Honky. “The abundance of natural light lends itself to lighter tones, which also complement the open plan layout.”

Also benefitting from a balcony, an en-suite and walk-in dressing room to the master suite, the second show apartment, located on the 5th floor, features a darker colour scheme, with rich heritage colours including British racing green and bronze with brass accents. Amy comments: “This apartment felt very welcoming, so we wanted to enhance this feeling by using rich colours and materials to create a homely feel, with links to British heritage inspired by the proximity to the Tower of London.”

The apartments at Landmark Place provide buyers with the latest technology, including a home automation system that allows heating and security systems to be controlled remotely. CCTV and onsite property management mean residents can have peace of mind, knowing that their property will be kept safe and well-maintained in their absence.

Pam Reardon, sales director at Barratt East London said, “We’re excited to have released these two new premium show apartments, as they will really help potential buyers to envisage what their new homes could be like, and how they can incorporate the rich history of this area of London into their own interior design. The location of Landmark Place is truly impressive, with fantastic amenities and a host of private facilities available for residents to enjoy.”

Landmark Place provides residents with the perfect combination of riverside and city living, eliminating the stress caused by a time-consuming and overcrowded commute.

Residents at Landmark Place do not only benefit from the excellent location, but also have access to private wellness facilities within the development. These include a 20m swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness suite and treatment room, as well as a 24-hour concierge service. Homebuyers can take advantage of a residents’ only lounge and bar, with access to a cinema room which is available to be booked for film screenings.
