Luxury watchmaker Breitling has smashed rent record with its deal to move to New Bond Street.

It seems like only yesterday that British clothing brand Belstaff broke the record with its move to Bond Street but this latest agreement takes the top spot. Breiling is thought to be paying the landlord, a private investor working with Savills, ยฃ1m a year for the new premises at 130 New Bond Street.

Breiling watches are in the top ten luxury watches currently being snapped up by Londonโ€™s richest according to our wealth management guru Katie Small.

The store was previously held by fashion retailer Diesel.
