London property is worth a whopping £1 trillion in total, according to new research by Primelocation.com. But it’s pipped to the title of richest region by the South East, where property stacks up to some £1.6 trillion.
Surrey is the richest county in property terms, with houses worth on average more than £255,000 per head and in total adding up to £288 billion.
The total value of property in the UK is £5.6 trillion, the research reckons.
