Will this sharp, angular, 38-storey tower be approved?
It has already been dubbed โThe Scalpelโ for its sharp, angular formโฆ and this 38-storey tower is set for Londonโs Lime Street if planning permission is given by the City Corporation on 15 January.
The tower, designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox, will serve as the European headquarters for US insurers WR Berkley.
It will even trump the Gherkin for size, being 190 metres tall, and will contain more than 560,000 sq ft of offices. Work is due to start this year and could be completed by 2017.
