Three garages near Wandsworth Common sell for £500,000 – x4 the guide price

£500,000 for a row of three garages? Only in London.

The guide price of the pictured garages in Wandsworth Common was £130,000. However, the opening offer started at £175,000. In the end, a mysterious buyer bought the garages for a staggering £500,000.

Put up for sale by Wandsworth council, the garages on Blenkarne Road are expected to be demolished to make way for a home on the the 870 sq ft plot. However, the site has no planning permission yet.
