Someone walled up the gap between two houses and put it on the market, as you do in London
If ever you travel outside the M25 (I know, why would you?) you’ll notice a strange phenomenon.
Many of the houses have gaps in between them – something known as “detached” or “semi-detached”. It’s something that almost doesn’t exist in the capital.
A case in point is this Dulwich beauty, on the market for a whopping £800,000.
So what you get for the best part of a million pounds?
It’s got two bedrooms, a bathroom, a private parking space and a garden. A steal, if you like handing over 30 times the average salary for what’s effectively a walled up gap between two real houses that’s only 10ft wide.
Of course, it’s being marketed by everyone’s *ahem* favourite estate agent Foxtons.
