Mayfair flats sold for record £5,100 per square foot

Four homes with spectacular view over Green Park have been sold for an average value of £5,100 per square foot.

Sold by British Land, the four homes were among 18 flats sold in Clarges Street for a total of £210m, an average of £11.6m each.

While some flats sold for an average value of £4750 per square foot, four were sold for £5100 a square foot. The sale beat the previous record of flats being sold for £5,000 per square foot.

Work on the flats began last year and is expected to be completed in 2017.

A stone’s throw away from Bond Street, the homes come with a private “wellness spa” with a 25m swimming pool, gymnasium and sauna, plus private cinema room.
