With temperatures rising as the late summer heatwave hits, homes with roof terraces are the hottest commodity in London and this is where The Robinson in Wembley Park shines.

The bold and eclectic homes to rent from Quintain Living – the award-winning management company overseeing the rental of more than 3,650 apartments in Wembley Park – provide a range of exciting outdoor spaces, including what is believed to be the longest row of sun loungers in London.

The Robinson’s huge bank of sun loungers stretches for 50m across the largest of the building’s three roof terraces. They are surrounded by a wealth of plants in brightly painted oil drums, while a rooftop juice bar in the form of a giant orange ensures residents can stay refreshed on even the hottest days.

The loungers are the crowning glory on a building that’s packed to the rafters with exciting and quirky features. From the terrace, a 7m slide leads down to the courtyard below, providing access to the residents’ lounge. The lounge features work from home booths, a dining room and kitchen and its own sizeable bank of seats, at the end of which sits a Damien Hirst-inspired taxi turned coffee machine, complete with refrigerated section in the bonnet for those who want to chill a few beers.

Meanwhile, The Robinson’s other two roof terraces are just as intriguing as the first. One is focused on wellbeing, with a spa caravan complete with hot tub. The other is home to three bespoke, custom-made camper vans that serve as work from home spaces, nestled around a central space with picnic benches and sun loungers for home workers to connect, relax and let inspiration and creativity flow beneath the deep blue sky. Robinson East also features 50 solar panels on the roof which provide metered on-site renewable energy to the building.

The Robinson is also home to a variety of podium garden spaces, all interconnected but with their own distinct vibe. There is the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Garden with its chandeliers, giant flowerpots and hideaway bright pink outdoor kitchen. There are swings for both children and grownups. An extensive lawn area dotted with deckchairs is perfect for reading, picnicking or catching up with friends. Then there’s the John Lennon-inspired peace garden, where the circular seating surrounded by foliage feels delightfully tucked away from the rest of the world. These ‘Festival Gardens’ mean that residents can enjoy the sun however the mood takes them.

Indoors at The Robinson, the apartments are also delightfully quirky, from their brightly coloured kitchens (residents can choose the colour they want, from turquoise to chilli red) to their Yin and Yang bathrooms. In The Robinson, there are discoveries to be made at every turn.
