A new digital end-to-end solution for estate agents, called Sort Move, has launched – designed to improve the home moving journey for all involved.
Founded in late 2019, it was created by Sort Ltd, the group who formed award-winning SortRefer in 2009 for the mortgage intermediary market.
The new proposition is headed up by Tom Gilbert, who has previously spent 16 years in the estate agency industry.
Sort Move provides a digital hub of products and services to a wide range of property professionals, including conveyancing, surveys, specialist property reports and EPCs. These products add value to the customer journey and provide another income stream for the agent, through fair and transparent referral fees. These products are backed up by a hand-picked panel of quality conveyancers, seamless partner integrations and a support team of Home Move Advisers.
Sort Move are currently in beta testing for their new Fast-Start client onboarding product, which will provide a secure online portal with digital protocol forms, biometric ID and digital signatures. This new proposition is designed to reduce the time to legal exchange and give better assurances around pipeline conversion.
Tom Gilbert, Head of Estate Agency Services said, “Our industry has been evolving at pace and the impact of the pandemic has in no doubt accelerated this. Agents and their clients want a seamless journey from the moment an agency agreement is signed. An experience that offers a balanced blend of innovative technology and central support to allow them to move forward no matter where or when.
“Sort Move is well placed to help achieve this as it’s group is powered by award winning in-house IT and services which has earned a solid reputation for SortRefer in the challenging broker intermediary market. We are not ‘disrupting’ or ‘changing the game’, we are simply providing a new platform for our agent networks as we have listened to what they want.”
“Our Fast-Start onboarding is first in line on our extensive roadmap which will continue to be influenced by our collaborators. This will include some free additional services for regular introducers, that are currently acquired by paid for subscriptions, adding further value to their own proposition without the additional cost.”
