Delivering a boost to serotonin and vitamin D levels through its increased sunlight, spring is a natural transition time and for those seeking a spring-focused new home in London, a wealth of inspiration can be found at Repton Gardens.
With large windows and full height glazing on balcony doors, and featuring an open plan design that maximises space, Repton Garden’s apartments are flooded with spring sunshine.
Tranquil and chic, the homes are packed with natural textures and tones, from their rattan lounge chairs and leaf print rugs to the deep green sofas, wooden tables and cedar plank effect Amtico flooring.
Touches of icy blue – one of this spring’s key colour trends – balance and lighten, overlaying a sense of freshness and creativity.
As the spring sunshine intensifies, Repton Gardens’ generous balconies come to life, with residents using their private outdoor spaces to grow a variety of herbs, flowers, fruit and vegetables.
The homes are provided by Quintain Living, the award-winning management company overseeing the rental of over 3,500 apartments in Wembley Park, named one of the Best Places to Live 2025 by The Sunday Times.
With natural inspiration built into the very fabric of the building, which is named after renowned landscape architect Humphry Repton whose work became the foundation of the original Wembley Park, Repton Garden’s botanically-inspired apartments bring the outdoors in with their sustainable-conscious design.
With eco credentials a top trend for spring 2026, Repton Gardens ticks all the right boxes. From its individual apartments to its welcoming social spaces, Repton Gardens’ biophilic design celebrates the wonders of nature. Greenery is packed into its clubroom, which features a pool table, soft seating and bar area, as well as into the suite of offices designed for home-based and hybrid working residents.
The roof terrace and beautifully cultivated gardens are a delight, with the latter including mounded earth to support larger trees, natural play equipment and outdoor kitchen areas with BBQs and seating. There’s also a fully equipped gym for burning off all those BBQ indulgences.
Sustainability was a priority during both the design of the building and its furnishing. ‘Hotel style’ risers reduce corridor overheating, centralised ventilation at roof level uses less energy than individual fans and exposed concrete ceilings naturally reduce overheating in individual homes. Rainwater is harvested for irrigation, balcony shading reduces solar gain and low-flow showers, toilets and taps reduce water consumption. There’s also an Envac waste system to encourage recycling and reduce the number of bin lorries on the roads.
In shared social areas, sofas have removable covers for product longevity and chairs are made using recycled textiles. Desks are bespoke and handmade from recycled materials, while vintage product sourcing has given a range of furnishings a new lease of life.
The studio to 4-bedroom apartments have also been furnished with sustainability at their core, with window dressings curated in line with strict eco-conscious credentials. Curtains are lined Dimout rather than flock backed, meaning they can be recycled and turned into underlay at the end of their life. Roller blinds are made from a minimum of 80% post-consumer recycled polyester, with three to four recycled 1.5 litre plastic bottles processed per one square metre of fabric and aluminium tracks that are fully recyclable.
The furniture, curated and delivered by John Lewis & Partners in biomethane vans, range from items made from recycled materials to those made in zero carbon footprint factories. 64% of the living and dining furniture lines are sustainable, including 100% of sofas, armchairs, mattresses, barstools, dining benches and artwork.
Danielle Bayless, Chief Operating Officer, Quintain Living, comments: “Londoners who are keen to use their spring energy to find a sustainability-focused and stylish new home need look no further. Repton Gardens’ biophilic design delivers a sense of connection with nature throughout the building. It’s the ideal place to put down roots this spring and all just 12 minutes from central London.”
