Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed the sale of 47 Station Approach in Hayes, within the South London Borough of Bromley.

Ideally positioned along a parade of local shops opposite Hayes railway station, 47 Station Approach was sold as a mixed use investment opportunity to Zacks Properties Ltd, a local construction business.

The property comprises a ground floor retail unit, a separate first floor, a two-bedroom residential flat and a single-storey storage and workshop building to the rear, which offers potential for future conversion.

Nick Bywater, Director – Retail Investment and Valuation at Christie & Co brokered the deal, he said, “There was strong demand for the property from local investors and owner occupiers, with multiple offers that resulted in a sale at above the asking price.

“This demonstrates that there is still good demand for retail investments in low-risk, affluent neighbourhood locations, where occupancy levels are high.

“I am currently marketing a similarly low risk convenience store investment opportunity in the thriving village of Clophill, Bedfordshire and encourage interested parties to get in touch as soon as possible!”
