Shard to contain £50m “mansion in the sky”

Details of the residential space in the Shard have been kept under wraps so far but news of the penthouse suite has been revealed by The Evening Standard.

The £50m penthouse apartment at the top of what will be Europe’s tallest building is to have panoramic views as far as the North Sea and will be as large as a six bedroom house.

Owners will have access to the Shangi-La Hotel’s facilities just below them including its swimming pool and high speed lifts.
