AVRillo scoops innovation award for speedy homebuying pack

Conveyancing company, AVRillo scooped a top innovation award and immediately announced they would carry on developing products to slash completion times.

Even as they picked up the Innovator of the Year trophy at the British Conveyancing Awards, they announced their plan to reduce the time it takes to exchange to four weeks from offer through their Sale Ready pack.

Co-founder and Senior Partner, Angelo Piccirillo, said: “Faster sales mean everyone gets paid quicker so we will continue to look for ways to accelerate the home-buying process and break down the barriers to speedy completion.”

‘Sale Ready’ provides a package of information to a potential buyer including Land Registry deeds, a report on title with a complexity ratings score, indemnity insurance and even a sales contract ready for signatures.

Now Piccirillo is offering agents who meet eligibility criteria the additional benefit of free searches which AVRillo will provide and pay for up-front.

Laser-sharp focus

Piccirillo said: “Searches can take weeks – even months from the date of the offer. And you can’t compete without them.

“The whole point of all this is to speed up the house buying process. That’s faster payments for us and for the agents. There’s more certainty for the buyer and seller, too. Everybody wins.”

Presenting the Law Firm Innovator of the Year Award at a ceremony at 8 Northumberland Avenue, Emily Haskey, Operations Manager at Dye and Durham said: “AVRillo had made an incredibly bold investment and had a laser-sharp focus on tracking the results.”
