Welcome to the #Britcore homes at the heart of Oasis reunion territory

With Oasis preparing to take the UK by storm once more next year, the internet has come alive with a celebration of British culture.

Intrinsically linked with the Brit culture of the 1990s, the band is now inspiring a whole new generation to take to social media about all things British.

In true British fashion, the term โ€œBritishcoreโ€ has long been used as a tongue-in-cheek nod to some of the UKโ€™s less glamourous aesthetics. However, just as the Gallagher brothers have come back a little bit more grown up, so too has the #Britcore trend. And one apartment building in the Wembley Park neighbourhood โ€“ where Oasis will grace the Wembley Stadium stage next summer โ€“ is showing just how itโ€™s done through interior design.

The Robinson from Quintain Living โ€“ the award-winning management company overseeing the rental of over 3,390 apartments in Wembley Park โ€“ is a glorious tribute to the quirks and idiosyncrasies of British culture.

The eccentricities start right at the front door, the inside of which is peppered with knockers. The door opens onto a timber-panelled lobby with wallpaper and translucent curtains that deliver a grandmaโ€™s house-style dollop of Britcore right from the outset.

Stepping into the lobby feels akin to Alice stepping down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. There are Paul Smith-style striped post boxes with Dr Martens feet. There are floating chairs that contradict and challenge the senses. Above everything, a giant mirror ball refracts sparkling light around the lobby.

A glass-backed fireplace overlooks London, topped by a 19th century, arched, Rococo-style giltwood wall mirror, again looking out over the city.

In one corner of the lounge, a London taxi decorated with Damien Hirst-inspired polka dots has been repurposed as a coffee machine and drinks chiller.

The taxi isnโ€™t the only iconic British vehicle in The Robinson. On one of the buildingโ€™s shared rooftops, three campervans sit nestled among picnic tables and chairs. The bright blue, yellow and pink vans have been custom-designed to provide some of the coolest work-from-home spaces in the capital. On another rooftop, a traditional British caravan has found new life as a resident spa, complete with hot tub under the stars.

The homage to all things British continues in The Robinsonโ€™s gardens. Striped deckchairs dot the lawn, while a circular peace garden inspired by John Lennon provides a space for quiet contemplation.

Also for residents to enjoy outdoors is the Mad Hatterโ€™s tea party garden. Drawn straight from the pages of Lewis Carrollโ€™s famous novel, the tables nestle amidst brightly coloured giant flowerpots, while chandeliers sway overhead in the breeze.

The icing on the oh-so-British cake? Residents of The Robinson enjoy views of Wembley Stadium from an enormous row of sun loungers that stretches across the buildingโ€™s main roof terrace (which connects via a seven-metre slide to the residentsโ€™ lounge on the floor below). Possibly the ultimate spot for enjoying the bandโ€™s return to the worldโ€™s most famous stage in 2025!

โ€œOne of the many exciting aspects of life with Quintain Living is the distinct design of each of our eight buildings at Wembley Park. Our inventive approach has resulted in buildings such as The Robinson, which are bursting with unique character. This not only provides residents with a vast array of choice but enables us to level up the resident experience, creating homes that people can love.” said, Danielle Bayless, Chief Operating Officer, Quintain Living
