UK broadcaster ITV has purchased a £56m building in London’s South Bank, it was announced today.
The price tag will pay for the remainder of the 56-year-lease on the property owned by retail letting firm Coal Pensions Property.
The 2.5-acre site will become ITV’s new main HQ as the station moves from its 1970s purpose built complex overlooking the Thames.
The relocation is part of ITV’s wider national realignment, which has seen operations across the country shifted.
