Global real estate advisor, CBRE, along with joint agent BC retail, has leased a prime retail unit in Borough Market to steak restaurant Flat Iron, on behalf of Nuveen.

Soho Wharf is a mixed-use building in the heart of London, comprising of The Clink Museum and office space, boasting City and Thames views.

Flat Iron has agreed to a 15-year lease at Soho Wharf and this deal marks the opening of Flat Iron’s ninth location, adding to their existing restaurant sites across London.

Mark Calder, Director, Retail at CBRE said: “Despite the ongoing restrictions in place across the UK, we were able to accommodate viewings for this site, resulting in a competitive bidding process. In turn, Nuveen had the rare opportunity to choose the operator they felt was most suited to the space. The level of interest we received gives us confidence in the recovery of the F&B sector, particularly for sought-after locations across London.”
